Minimize, regenerate and reuse
We want the natural cycle of resources to never stop. We want the result of one stage to always be the raw material for the next.
Our process is conceived in a circular way, where all the elements resulting from the process are commercialized or reused in the same process.
01
It is obtained from a light fuel resulting from the regeneration process of used oil.
02
It is achieved from rainwater and water recovered from the regeneration process itself.
03
10% of the electrical energy consumed is generated by the company’s own photovoltaic panels.
At Cator we are aware that water is an extremely valuable resource, therefore, most of the water used in our process comes from our own recovery sources.
01
Used oil contains between 2% and 10% of contaminated water that Cator treats and recovers for reuse.
02
The plant is designed to recover all the rainwater from the 36,000 m2 of surface area it occupies. In this way, water consumption from external sources is minimized.
I+D
At Cator, we are firmly committed to innovation and we have an R&D department that includes our own laboratory. Our approach is focused on achieving a triple objective:
01
02
03
The circular economy is an economic model aimed at achieving more efficient and resilient production and consumption systems that preserve resources within a continuous cycle and optimize their value.
In this regard, the United Nations agreement of September 2015 establishes the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) propose to eradicate poverty reduce social inequality and combat climate change.
At Cator we follow circular lines of action, with which we contribute to the fulfillment of the SDGs.
