Catorex asphalt bitumen

High quality asphalt bitumen obtained from the heavy fraction of the regeneration process.

Used in the production of asphalt products, it meets the leaching parameters established in DIN 38 414-S4.

GLICOL

Regemeg regenerated glycol

Monoethylene glycol (MEG) is an organic chemical compound, widely used in the automotive industry as an antifreeze.

REGEMEG, the glycol that we obtain by regeneration, has a composition that exceeds 95% pure monoethylene glycol, and has countless applications in many industrial sectors.

+ 95%

The composition obtained is more than 95 % pure monoethylene glycol.

FAQS

Yes, REGENOIL 150N is a lubricant base with the same molecular structure as that of a first refined SN150 (Group I) base oil, so both products have the same physicochemical characteristics.

Regenerated oils have a color very similar to that of a virgin oil, but a slightly different odor than the typical odor associated with first-refining bases. However, both odor and color are organoleptic properties of each oil, whether virgin or regenerated, which depend basically on its origin, as well as on the specific manufacturing processes. As mentioned above, the physicochemical properties are the same for both products.

A lubricant is composed of approximately 80% base oil and 20% additives that provide the specific properties for its application. Once a lubricant’s useful life is over, the additives are the part that has degraded. Through regeneration, we recover the base oil, which can be regenerated indefinitely, regardless of whether the lubricant was originally formulated with a regenerated SN150 base oil or a first-refined base oil, since both oils are essentially the same substance: a hydrocarbon chain that we can distill again to create a new regenerated base oil suitable for formulating top-quality lubricants.
