We have received in our facilities the visit of a delegation of the Agència de Residus de Catalunya (ARC), who were able to see first hand our process of circular regeneration of industrial oil.
Organization of the day with Agència de Residus de Catalunya
During the event, we showed how we transform used oil into high quality lubricant, avoiding waste generation and contributing to a more sustainable circular economy model. Our process is based on regeneration, an alternative that allows us to give a second life to used oil, recovering its components, reducing dependence on virgin raw materials and closing the product’s life cycle.
In addition, we showed them in situ how our regeneration process is conceived in a circular way, where all the resulting elements are marketed or reused in the same process. Thanks to this strategy, we achieve a zero waste system, consolidating our commitment to sustainability.

The importance of institutional collaboration
These types of meetings reinforce the need for collaboration between administrations and private companies to move towards a more efficient waste management aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The involvement of organizations such as the Agència de Residus de Catalunya is key to continue promoting responsible production and consumption models.
At Cator, we continue working to be a benchmark in environmental management and circular economy, committed to innovation and continuous improvement.
We would like to thank the Agencia de Residus de Catalunya for their interest in our work and their commitment to sustainability – we continue to move forward together towards a cleaner and more efficient future!
