On October 5, the Cator and Sircat facilities in Alcover (Tarragona) were full of families with the celebration of our #FamilyDay2024. This event is an opportunity to share with our families the work we do and the positive impact we generate in the care of the environment.

A day full of learning and fun

During the day, the families of our workers had the opportunity to get to know in depth the activity we develop in our plant, learning first-hand how we transform waste into resources and how we promote the circular economy from our operations.

Thanks to this day, families had the opportunity to learn about:

– Cator’s used industrial oil regeneration process, a key activity to reduce environmental impact.

– How all the different types of waste, whether hazardous or non-hazardous, that we receive at our Sircat facilities are managed.

– The values and commitments that make Cator and Sircat a benchmark in environmental responsibility.

We also organized didactic and educational activities and workshops that were a great success among the children, who enjoyed learning about the importance of recycling and sustainability in a fun and dynamic way.

Throughout the day, we also had the “Colla Gegantera i Grallera d’Alcover” in charge of energizing much of the morning and the bakery “Ca Feliu” of Alcover, which provided the dessert for lunch being the sweetest moment of the day. In this way, we reinforce the social commitment we have with the territory that surrounds us and the improvements of this.

An event that reinforces our commitment

Family Day not only allows us to share our work with our families, but also to reaffirm our commitment to the environment and the territory. This type of event reminds us that behind every project there are dedicated, passionate people committed to a more sustainable future.
